ABOUT ME

Dr Issac has done PhD in Networking and Mobile Communication. Check the link: Monograph of my PhD Work (pdf file)

Prior to that, he had completed Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with honours. He is currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Northumbria University, UK.

 

Dr Issac is research active and has authored more than 100 refereed conference papers, journal papers and book chapters - winning best conference paper awards couple of times. He is in the technical programme committee of many international IEEE conferences and journals where he has reviewed many research papers. He has supervised Master (MSc) by research students to completion and is currently supervising a number of PhD students. He has been an external examiner to PhD students as well. He has won the ‘Innovator of the Year’ award in Dynamites 2020, organised by Dynamo North East and was shortlisted as a finalist in ‘Excellence in Cybersecurity’ for E&T Innovation Awards 2020, organised by IET, UK.

 

His professional memberships or certifications are: Chartered Engineer (CEng), Senior IEEE member, Fellow of HEA, IET member, IAENG member and Senior IACSIT member. He is also a Certified Cisco CCNA Instructor (for CCNA Exploration Courses), a Certified Java instructor and a Certified Lotus Notes Professional.

My research interests are broadly in the following fields and I have a number of refereed research publications in the areas below:
